I looked at a number of various licenses and decided that the GNU GPL and LGPL 
would guarantee freedom for future users of this software to both add and
enhance it.  A close runner-up was the beerware license in that it provided 
the freedom I wanted my users to have.  The problem with it is that it does 
not guarantee that freedom past one distribution cycle.

So I release the software under the following license:

All software is released under the GNU GPL Version 3, with the understanding 
that if you find the software useful, and we meet up in a bar sometime you
can feel free to buy me a drink.  

If you wish to license any bit of my software for commercial purposes, I will
release a custom source set under the GNU LGPL under certain circumstances.
